That is, it’s easier if we help each other—just as Öcsi helps Medárd.
Every day, Öcsi dries Medárd’s hair, helps him brush his teeth, brings him his coffee and newspaper, sets the table, cooks lunch, and keeps him company.
Of course, Medárd remains completely indifferent to all of this. He spends his days lost in his own bitterness, and when he’s not dwelling on the past, he only picks on Öcsi.
But on this day, everything changes…
The two clowns—who go to extremes either to get each other into trouble or sometimes to pull one another out of it—must realize that they depend on each other just as much as the other depends on them.
